Born in the Philadelphia suburbs, Francis Daulerio has spent his twenty-seven years trying to create something beautiful. Finding inspiration in family, nature, and the unpredictability of daily life, his poetry represents a cultivation of experiences through careful dissection and thought.
After relocating with his wife to a modest house surrounded by trees, Francis has settled down to complete his first full collection. Now, as winter’s deep freeze hides life beneath, he will spend the next few months cultivating the debris in the hopes of unveiling a piece of art that will emit a light and a heat, and will rip blossoms of spring back up from the quiet soil.
If & When We Wake is Fran's first book. Available in a second edition.
