Employment and Volunteer Positions
We are looking for incredibly capable, driven interns to place into editorial and marketing positions. These are tough positions, and completely remote. You will write press releases, edit manuscripts, do tedious (and invaluable) research and more.
Email with a cover letter and resume to email@example.com
Write INTERN in the subject line.
Readers are critical to our submissions periods. Readers work on a contract-basis, and get paid if a book they accept (and is subsequently accepted by our team) makes money (2% of all sales).
Readers write up 1-2 page acceptance and rejection reports. They are expected to have a solid writing history and prove their skills with samples.
Email a resume and 2 writing samples to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please put READER in the subject line.
Looking to build your writing portfolio? Or do you have a blog and want to guest post with us? We are launching a kick-ass writing website during the summer of 2017.
The website will be informative and unlike other writing sites across the internet. Think of it as a publishing-editing-writing project that has a strong, authoritatively hilarious tone. There won't be any "Ten Ways to Improve Your Writing" articles on this site. The posts will be educated. A cross between instructive and cooperative.
Bloggers cannot be paid at this moment, but we are working hard to secure funding to pay you! Bloggers are given full credit for their work and a backlink to their website.
Email us at email@example.com with a resume, links to writing samples and a bit about yourself.
