Hey all! Winter is creeping around the corner, and with that comes the holidays and more books added to our shelves (and hopefully yours!). We would like to give you a few calendar dates to get you ready for the chilly season:
December 15: Winter Release of The Fictioneer
December 28: Release of Steven Charnow's Charlie Fig and the Lip
January 2015: Submissions are opening up. Another post will be added to explain what we are looking for.
January 2015: Release one book of poetry and one novel
The fall has been incredibly tough for the editors at UP, as we have been working hard to maintain investors and funding the press. Don't worry-- we have been graciously backed by our lovely colleagues and the press shall live on for another year.
Notice: We are looking for five readers to assist us in the submission reading period. Please email us with your resume and time commitment. This is an unpaid position, but we do give stellar recommendations.
Keep U.P. Alive
Unsolicited Press is a beast that runs on good energy and dedicated editors and staff. Your donation helps pay these folks when books don't sell or we just break even. You see, our staff doesn't get paid until the bills and the authors are paid -- and sometimes that means we make pennies...we don't mind it, but your support really helps keep us afloat.
Order a Book, Save AN Author
You can buy our books through our website or from any major retailer in the nation. Some retailers take longer than others to acquire our books.

Listen to Literature
Most of our editors cherish our subscription with Audible. Right now they are offering free trials and a free audiobook. This is a great place to listen to Baxter's "The Art of Subtext." Think about it.
