What to Submit:
Unsolicited Press is looking for nonfiction essays of ANY length, and on any subject. All essays should be submitted to Unsolicited Press as PDFs along with a brief bio, "synopsis", and any other information that seems pertinent.
What's the Prize?
Grand Prize
Th grand prize winner will secure a book contract with Unsolicited Press to publish a work of nonfiction that is either an extension of the submitted essay or of a different topic entirely. The entry fee pot will be used to fund the entire project from start to finish including publicity and marketing. Should we receive a glorious amount of submissions, the author will receive an advance against royalties.
The Next Best Thing
The top 15 essays will be selected to be a part of a nonfiction essay anthology, which will receive global distribution. All authors will receive a complimentary copy of the anthology and they will be heavily promoted by our marketing team through all major venues.
All proceeds from the anthology will be donated to the Little Free Library, a program dedicated to spreading literacy.
