In Loving Memory of Robert Knox (1947–2024)

We are saddened to share the passing of Robert (Bob) Congreve Knox—beloved writer, poet, and longtime member of the Unsolicited Press community.

In 2018, we proudly published Bob’s poetry collection, Cocktails in the Wild, a vibrant, witty, and reflective book that captures his deep love for language, nature, and the everyday details that make life extraordinary. His poetic voice, both grounded and expansive, continues to inspire readers seeking connection, clarity, and a touch of wildness.

To honor Bob’s life and legacy, Unsolicited Press will donate all future proceeds from Cocktails in the Wild to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, supporting critical cancer research and compassionate care.

Bob’s impact as a writer and human being was—and remains—immeasurable. We are grateful for the words he left behind and hope readers will continue to find meaning in his work.
