Meet the Writers. Get the Book Signed. Stay for the Next Chapter.

Portland Book Festival is a place to find the book you didn’t know you were looking for, and meet the person who wrote it. Unsolicited Press is bringing its authors and books to the festival, with signings throughout the day and plenty of conversation at the table. Stop by, browse a while, ask a writer about the work, and leave with a book signed just for you.

Find us at the Friday Night Book Market and Saturday’s exhibitor fair. Our authors will be signing throughout the festival; check the schedule for who’ll be at the table and when

check it out.

And when the fair lets out, the reading keeps going. Unsolicited Press carries the festival energy into Portland’s bookstores, coffee shops, and breweries. The weekend’s off-site readings offer more chances to hear the work, meet the writers, and keep the conversation alive—whether you’re joining us for one stop or making a whole weekend of it.

Saturday, November 7 · 6:30 p.m. · BOLD Coffee & Books, 1755 SW Jefferson Street, Portland

Four writers enter the dark from different doors. Anthony DiPietro’s poems move through gay love, sex, and the strange repetitions of desire. Amy Baskin gives Lilith—the first woman, cast as demon—her fierce voice. Summer Stewart’s poems and essays expose the scripts written onto women’s bodies and lives. In David Loring Nash’s Northwoods, witchcraft, revenge, and human folly wait just beyond the treeline. Join them for a reading and conversation. It’s bound to get sharp.
