Unsolicited Press announced immediate availability of Pomegranate Odyssey by Hannah Calkin. Pomegranate Odyssey is a celebration of women in fairy tales and mythology through a series of narrative and lyrical poems. From Rapunzel to Persephone and girlhood to womanhood, Calkin explores the evolution of the archetypal female protagonist in classic literature and modern culture.

Pomegrante Odyssey is Hannah Calkin’s first book of poetry. She graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing in 2018. Her work has been featured in the Sandy River Review, The River, Barren Magazine, Persephone’s Daughters, Rhythm & Bones, and Riggwelter Press. She currently lives and works as a tutor in southern Maine.
