Introducing Small Press Big Mouth Book Club

Small presses are good at making books.
What we are not always good at is giving them time.

Small Press Big Mouth Book Club was created to change that.

This is a monthly, author-present book club built around conversation rather than consumption. Each month centers a single Unsolicited Press title and includes a live, moderated author salon, a reader kit, and a private Discord space for discussion.

This is not a passive experience. But it is also not performative. You do not have to read everything. You do not have to attend live. Listening counts. Skimming counts. Showing up when you can counts.

What matters is attention.

The books we publish deal with grief, queerness, illness, climate anxiety, embodiment, power, and survival. They ask questions that cannot be rushed. Small Press Big Mouth exists to give those questions room to breathe.

Authors appear live because readers deserve direct conversation with the people who made the work. Readers are not expected to perform enthusiasm or mastery. This is not a hype machine. It is a space for thoughtful, honest engagement.

Membership is $25 per month. You can cancel at any time. Replays are always available.

If you are looking for a book club that values depth, care, and conversation, we would love to have you.
