Nick Rees Gardner has worked as a winemaker, chef, painter, shoe salesman, teacher, and addiction counselor. His fiction, nonfiction, and poetry have been published widely and his book of sonnets, So Marvelously Far, which tracks a life of substance abuse and recovery through a postindustrial Mansfield, Ohio, was published in 2019.
