SMALL PRESS, BIG MOUTH BOOK CLUB

$25.00

Where independent literature gets loud.

Unsolicited Press publishes books that don’t fit inside neat categories: books with teeth, books with tenderness, books that blow holes in the quiet. Now we’re gathering the readers who crave that kind of electricity.

Every month, members receive a handpicked Unsolicited Press title, an invitation to our Big Mouth Author Salon, and access to a community of literary troublemakers who want more from their reading life. If you love books that punch back, books that push boundaries, books that whisper “I dare you,” then this is your club.

WHAT YOU GET EACH MONTH

One Featured Book
Each month centers a single Unsolicited Press title, with an intentional July double feature, selected for depth, urgency, and conversation value across fiction, poetry, memoir, and experimental work.

Live Author Salon
Every featured author appears live for a moderated 60-minute Zoom salon. These are structured, thoughtful conversations. They are not awkward readings, not AMAs, and not marketing events.

Replays are available for members who cannot attend live.

Reader Kit
Each month includes a downloadable Google Doc reader kit with:

  • Context and framing for the book

  • Discussion and craft questions

  • Content notes and pacing guidance

  • Optional prompts for deeper engagement

You can read everything. Or skim. Or bring one question. All of that counts.

Private Discord Community
Members receive access to a private Discord space with:

  • Monthly discussion threads

  • Author question submission

  • Optional prompts and reflections

  • A low-pressure place to read alongside other serious readers

  • No forced participation. No posting quotas. Listening is allowed.
